It now only goes very slowly.
I've got a mains powered one but that takes the star lock blades not the normal ones I've got loads of.
That's the opposite of mine, it only goes at max speed after the electronics got wet, I was a bit annoyed as it had only been used twice.Broke my multi tool today

View attachment 507163Broke my too-cheap sealant gun, so did some weldingnot to fix it, but to help reach my stopcock
which is buried in a corner under a cupboard with only 4" gap for access.
Works a treat, tested on an old one anyway. Maybe just needs extending a bit more...
could be worse...we are selling my grandmothers house after she passed last year...the neightbour rang us one day to say the hose had burst so he turned the water off at the stopcock outside. brilliant, gives me plent of time to sort it...what he failed to tell us is that he broke the bloody stopcock handle off in the process...At least you won't get the same problem one of my neighbours had, he turned off the water at the stopcock outside his house, nipped inside to check it was off, but by the time he got back out someone had nicked the stopcock key![]()
Happened a lot with those plastic stopcocks...often too far down to reach with pliers too. Last one I helped with i made up a special tool and managed to turn it off...took several attempts to get the shape right....what he failed to tell us is that he broke the bloody stopcock handle off in the process...
Varta - a surprise as I've brought other (more discharged & much older batteries) back in the past using my trusty Optimate4 smart charger.Tayna?
my smart battery charger, the battery is 2 years old
I'd guess that it's a thermal overload switch.
