It's quite conceited of humans to think they can make any massive difference to the planet. It will be around long after life has become extinct - just as it was before the first living cell developed. All we can do is make a tiny blip to the climate with the rest being beyond our control.
Real shame that the establishment propaganda about climate change, seems to have worked and very few people take it that seriously. I would guess in maybe 10 years time, significant numbers of people in UK are likely to be drastically affected by it, and at the very least many millions will suffer extended power outages, as the already creaking national grid becomes even less able to cope with severe weather conditions?

it was a suprise this morning when I opened my house door......it was warmer outside than inside my house.....but being in Yorkshire my central heating thermostat is set at 12C

I'm really surprised by the head-in-the-sand retoric being spouted here, obviously some real environmental experts present. It's this exact attitude that's going to cause millions to die from food and water shortages, all the fossil fuels to be depleted and the extinction of many many species. Yeah the earth will keep on spinning, great argument.
Wouldn't it be better for a global shift in conciousness where we prioritise the future of the earth for our kids and not just for making a bit more money? What are you going to lose?
