I can't tell for sure with those pics but it's highly likely to be a carp if it was just cruising about. I've just spent the weekend watching dozens of them ignoring every tactic I tried to catch them.
Saint?
I'd rather not say as I might be encroaching on this thread and I wouldn't want to draw attention.Turbotcharged?
For something with a brain the size of a walnut they can sometimes be quite canny. i did manage to catch a few over the weekend. So I don't mind them sunbathing especially as they have not long spawned.I was watching half a dozen of them avoiding anglers whilst eating the bread some kids were throwing in for the geese and ducks. I am easily amused.
Defo not carp - more likely pike.
Catfish crossed my mind, but think pike.
But then I'm no fisherman, it's a fish, for sure, like a bird is a bird.
Oh my dace.Motor Pike someone commented

My choice, if not a pike/perch. We once fished a large lake where few even got a bite. Someone dragged out a huge catfish on about a 5lb line one day. It was a record at the time(in the ‘60s) 35 or 45lbs - huge whichever it was.If the waters crap (not carp) then maybe a catfish
