Aye I wouldn't class his setup as entry level in the slightestBear in mind Robin has servos worth more than some plasma cutters on his table.
Thickness, amperage, speed?
Sorry!Thickness, amperage, speed?
What is the back like?
The guys I use have a 3kw laser, which handles 15mm steel plate comfortably.
2 days is 2 days to long for the stuff I do. I need to be able to make a part right away. For example today the boatyard asked me to make a bit for a boat that is going down the slip tomorrow. I went to the boat, measured, drew in Fusion and cut and had it fitted to the boat 30 mins later.
Thanks! The tables were for router or plasma cutting. Routers have higher side loads, so I assumed using one for plasma would be more accurate??Could be a number of things, presume the current was full whack and not set too low? Was the airflow ok?
Regarding the ply kits, I presume you were talking CNC router table, £7.5K sounds expensive to me but as I build my own machines most things sound expensive There is a guy that builds CNC Routers and most seem happy with them although I have no idea on price or what they are actually like, he goes by the name of JazzCNC or something like that and he is usually on the mycncuk forum.
