You got ripped off bob, you could've just bought the whole company for a quid, brought the toolbox home and sold the company on again

like most go bust buy the 20 percent best shops for 10th of there worth and pay the liquidation company some money to add to a pot the pay off any one they owe money to

sorry to say after paying hmrc and the liquidation company there fees theres nothing left most people get 5 pence in the pound

they go bust and it starts again

a guy I know went bust owing over a 100 grand to 8 different firms .he still has his house and range rover all in his wifes name he had to go on holiday as it had made him feel ill not as ill as the blokes he done out of over 10 grand and get nothing . its great financing big spenders and work your balls off and loose as well

Experienced a similar situation back in the late 80's, firm went down the pan, took three small firms (employing 15 -20ish each) with them, all the original directors walked away with no damage at all to them, included the ownership of several seriously classic cars, two Ferrari's, a pre war 'Derby' Bentley and an early 911, all shipped out to Spain via Gibraltar in advance of the crash; out of the clutches of any bailiff/receiver.
In no time at all they were back in business.

Makes you sick.

It is nice gear, I was opening and shutting the drawers and they all seem to be on decent bearing runners, I was just surprised to find them in a dump like Homebase I think I am going back for the chunky box on the first page.
