you Music/bloody awful noise is not welcome in any shape or form anywhere near where I'm trying to get a job done.Empty vessels make the most noise.In my experience you end up with one idiot with a loud radio competing with another idiot across the shop with another loud radio on a different station,the ensuing jangle being gruesome.

As a field service engineer (er, techie ) I find myself subject to aural abuse of a pseudo-musical nature wherever I go, including in my own bloody workshop when the calibration techs just have to have Radio shagging One on.
And whoever it was that said Tarrant is god needs a hot welding rod inserted into his lug'oles...

No I dont want hot electrodes in my ear holes thank you, I have been a fan of CT since the beginning of his radio presenting days back in the 80s on capital radio.

I think he is a brilliant personality, and having met him more than once one of the nicer 'celebs', but then again I think Anthea Turner is misunderstood and much maligned.

If we ALL thought the same it would be a boring old place.........

To be fair he is fractionally more entertaining than Chris Gobsh!te Evans or Steve Everyonelovesme Wright... but CT does like the sound of his own voice.

Sparkey, don't get me wrong, I like music... but it has to be what I want to listen to and when I want to listen to it, not some cacophonous dissonance (je regrette, je ne connais pas les mots Francais ) blasted at me from a plastic box full of distortion. From Rodrigo's Concerto d'Aranjuez to AC-DC's Hell's Bells... each in its own moment

I use headphones and always have the phone on vibrate in the pocket.
