Welder problem

II have my handy mig for about 6 years now. It worked well for a time but now when I start welding for say 3 minuets then it will start spluttering and will not weld properly.
Is this a wire feed problem or has the welder got a bigger problem?

Sounds like a feed issue. Read the thread on teh SIP mods.

A new liner/tip may be needed as it may be causing too much drag.

Just to let you know that I have just got a new liner from e-bay it if for a snap-on welder so i guess i will have to make it fit my SIP handy mig.

If that liner does not work, PM weldequip, he sells liners/parts.
