Welder power rating for welding large amounts of 5mm+ steel

12x1 of 6mm ali plate = 20kgs
12x1 of 3mm ali plate = 10kgs

Framework is
60ft of 50x50x5mm = 70kgs

Storage space required, 520mm x 240mm x 410mm when closed and stacked on top of each other.

No burning your clutch out trying to get up 'em.
No brown trousers if you do get up 'em.

That's a thought. What if you need them to replace a clutch? How do you get up 'em then?

Just to add a note of caution, I sent this enquiry to the ebay seller of these ramps:

A few questions:

1. What the width of the track; i.e. what is the largest width of tyre that can be accommodated?
2. Are these ramps sturdy enought to support a Volkswagen Transporter T4 (unladen)?
3. What is the height of the ramp in the level position?
4. Can they be used for vehicle maintenance and not just display?

The reply came back:

You realise these are the weak ones? Thinner steel and single welds not good enough for public arena or employee arena. The good ones are the £550 if you call on 01205 760016 daytime or email from the carstages web site - I can have a look at what genuine INDUSTRIAL units are around your area- and give a delivery.

300mm but we often see overhang
