Have an idea for a little (big!) garden ornament project that I’d like to use “weathering steel” for.
Firstly, is that what it’s actually called at suppliers?
Probably want half a sheet (4x4) of 3mm.
Secondly, do I need to use a specific wire for welding, or will the bog standard A18 0.8mm get me away? It should be a series of tacks to hold pieces together in a 3D form, so not too noticeable all being well.
Are there any specifics for welding it that I need to be away of, and does it cut well on a CNC Laser/Plasma?
