I saw someone in the US had mounted a 15 inch kids writing tablet beside their machine tools, for sketches, writing notes/sizes/arithmetic.

I tend use oily bits of paper and a pencil, for lathe and mill work, the idea of a kid proof writing tablet appeals - anyone else done this?
