I thought building sites etc. Had the tempory offices etc added to the planning application from the start?
I have seen them going cheap when they have to be removed from site by a certain date

A friend of mine has built a proper steel framed house in his rural yard, sitting on the ground, it has a lifting eyes at the ridge.

He also has a crane big enough to lift it, discussions with planning are ongoing and interesting!

They only stock one size at Costco, but I expect it’s available somewhere in bigger sizes.
The metal strip serves two purposes, it traps the edge of the flooring and also hides the welded join in the floor between the two containers.

Containers are used on rigs and accomodwtion barges for additional accomodation when requird, basic but functional

Easily welded or even bolted on when required!

we have a 20' and a 30' and we had to apply for planning permission
it was granted but only for 5 years! then we have to apply again
and yes we have to pay business rates on them
