Urgent help needed- paint reaction/water Contamination? -with photos

This is the second time this is happened- First I thought I had pushed too hard with a tack rag then thought water contamination- I have a compair air dryer with 2 stage filters going in and out- the one coming out doesn't have much water in the bowl so I'm guessing this is water contamination because of the air dryer not cooling the hot humid air? It seems the thicker the coat I put on the worse it gets....

I'm spraying on cellulose primer de-nibbed with 1200 grit, then I washed,rinsed,dried,panel wiped,tack clothed,panel wipe again and tack cloth again and then paint(cellulose)

What a pain. It's not water contamination - that appears as bubbles not crazing. It'll be a paint reaction and they do get worse the thicker you spray because thinners are around for longer.

My guess is it's not cellulose underneath. Whatever case a blocker coat would be sensible before you spray any more panels. Fixing that one is going to take a lot of rubbing down.

ok what I thought was cellulose primer turns out to be alkyd resin primer- Does that make sense RE the paint reaction?

How long did you spray the topcoat after putting the primer on?

Is the primer thinned with xylene?

The internet isn't clear but suggests alkyd resin primers can be oil based for painting house windows. Cellulose paint isn't compatible with anything. Best bet would probably be to sand or strip the primer off and have another go.

I sanded it down bar coated primed and it was fine then...so thanks for the help everyone. I spray painted a piano with the same primer mixed with cellulose to get the right colour and matt effect and had not problem-s that was about 6 months ago nothing has happened to it so far...
