My van is 51 plate , at first I thought it was not going to be compliant , but having checked again it is compliant , try the VOSA web site type in the reg and it will tell you if its any good or not !

As I Understand it my transit has the same engine as 2003 2004 so they are compliant so is mine !

Your vehicle will not meet new 2012 emissions standards if:

It was first registered as new any time before 1 October 2006
You have received a LEC or an RPC but you have only fitted a partial filter
You have received a LEC or an RPC for an Eligible Engine (these will no longer meet the LEZ standards from 2012)
You have received an RPC which has box 'M' ticked (this can be found under the 'Particulate trap fitted or modification type used' section of the certificate)
You'll need to take action if you want to drive within the LEZ from 3 January 2012 without paying the daily charge.

to my reading this means its ok !

Right ! this also applied to my mate whose van is an x reg he has the same engine as me ! So the answer is to check first before scrapping or selling the old van

its a money making scam £100 to enter london in a non complient vehicle per day why non just wait and let natural vehicle replacement take place

Motor Home no chance of it meeting the requirements!

You haven't read the right section, that is only talking about vehicles over 3.5tonnes. Click on the other tabs on the LEZ page

There'll be a map on the TFL website but very basically if you go inside of the M25 you'll see signs telling you you're about to enter the low emission zone. In a few places you'll encounter signs while on/outside of the M25
