Towing ball joint

so to save money, I made this to round of metal, or for other uses. One towing ball joint. Welded to thick metal bar. In the vice way you go

There goes my Patent again. The first prototype was useless as it had a flat on the top!

That's because its a 50mm ball, if you want a round top you need to look for an old 2" one

Can you build it up and grind it round? Never tried welding one so not sure if that would work

Absolutely ideal if you want to put your trailer in the vice to do some work on it.

No vice ,to get max height I used the forklift,see photos.

Cut the top off and weld it into the tube and it will take a lot more hammer.
