Just Back from The Autojumble at York
I bought a box of Jubilee clips for £2 and these springs are in the box any ideas what they are for?

look like the springs on an inertia starter motor, goes dehind the bendix

Vintage NOS Remax FORD Popular Starter Main Spring SB9, Lucas 270326, 7W-11375 so starter motor spring or very similar

My guess is the springs you find on some exhaust clamps, typically connecting a pipe flange to back box flange
