A fun fact for the (stock) RF900 is that it still holds the world record for the longest distance travelled in 24 hours 5,900 Kms at an average speed of 152 mph set in 1994.
Took the missus Mercedes S204 in to work on Friday as it was rattling like a seanut suspension wise. Had a set of rear dampers sat in the boot hoping they were the cause and in recent weeks the front had started rattling too so l suspected ARB droplinks.
All the rattles were keeping me awake to and from hospital visits, Friday l realised hiw much the meds are taking out of me and l struggled doing the suspension on a 2 post ramp with all the correct tools.
Took the car for a drive afterwards and the diagnosis was correct, rear dampers rattling and cheap drop links.
While we were off after one hospital visit, we washed the car and l took the missus for brunch. Turns out there's a car wash at the Cafe now!
My meds have me bolloxxed right now and it is ridiculous, when I did the front disks and pads on my little Astra last year it took me two days. a two hour job tops, two days!
