I do find it slightly surprising that so many of the reviews mention "good communication" though. It's not hard and doesn't take long to keep customers in the loop. You'd think it'd be normal to do so?![]()
It's not just about being polite/helpful, it has a very practical benefit too. The more stuff that's in writing, including "as per our telephone conversation ...." and pictures the less opportunity there is for misunderstandings, arguments about prices, time expectations being way off, people thinking a service means a full restoration etc etc.You would think so.
I work for a big international company - and it's a big bug bear of mine - keep the customer updated so they know what is happening and can plan.
But we still seem to wait until they've set off from the other side of the world to tell them their millions of quid of machines aren't quite ready yet...
