If they build these "intelligent recharging roads", then they are going to have tolls on them ,which will probably make the journey in your petrol / diesel car look cheap in comparison

Ah the noise argument

Many many people would own an electric car if they sounded like an Italian V8

Not once in the entire history of the universe has anyone ever said or thought

“I’d buy an electric car if they sounded like two skeletons having a fight in a tin bath”

As two skeletons having a fight in a tin bath is pretty much how 99% of modern cars sound.

So given the choice i would far rather have the complete silence of a electric car instead of the afore mentioned skeletons

Very interesting battery technology, graphene based batteries, very fast charge and more capacity than current lithium batteries and not far from going into production.

Yes, electricity still needs to be generated to charge 'em but this could go along way to solve part of the problem with EVs.

To charge them in 5 minutes it will need some serious charger
