Looks hand made to me. Well made. needs a soak in oil as the thread is gummed up.

I was given this spanner today.

New neighbour down the road found it in his garage, he thought it would be of use to me.



It is 12" long, there are names or some letters stamped under the Galv. finish, but can not make them out yet.

The RHS are 2 Hex. and 1 square, all are tapered so it looks like it is designed to fix 6 different fixings.




The left hand end has 2 squares and 1 hex fixings, again all tapered.




If handling it the impression it gives, is one of a good quality tool, but badly designed.
It does not feel comfortable in the hand.

Any one give some pointers as to what trade it is from or it's use.

(note to self, not to be used as part of the wind chime.)

Funny you should mention the plug, i may have to scrap her as i've not seen one like this before.

yea they changed them from round pin to flat pin

The plug will be ok with croc clips on, ....... Just don't blow the fuse though. On second thoughts that would be dangerousl, no earth pin

If it was my MIL the plan would be ship the house to the US, regardless of cost
