If you look you can see @Parm in his natural environment.
Clearly scavenging for tasty morsels and treats.

If he is successful he will return to his den and gloat.

If you make a sudden noise or he is disturbed he will bolt (1" Whit) and he will be lost.

Today’s Car Boot was annoying today.

3 big charities had encamped, taking over, in total, 15 of the big slots by the entrance. Being charities they had all the nice kit. Heaters, lights and cheap coffee. Oh yes a tame burger stool.

Talking to a few of my favourite stool owners they were very upset, the charities had got a 90% discount on the setting up price, bullied the normal people of the best slots and the burger van was under cutting the regulars by 50% on the food.

Worse, they had trading standard and council staff walking around stopping people selling stuff on their tables. They told me, Trading Standard Staff are normally very good, giving advice and being helpful.

Today, they were clearly being shadowed.

Sad day, is it the thin end of the wedge?

Near me, big charities have moved into the town centre forcing smaller charities and small rummage shops out of business.


End of my rant.

I have new coffee mugs to try out.

Got a magnetic chuck and a couple of lathe tools for £30

That's a very good find there chris, I've been looking for a magnetic chuck for my surface grinder for ages

Ide like a magnetic chuck just to hold stuff still without putting it in the vice all the time
