same as here, i dont use them too often but the 13, 17, 19 gets a good workout a right bit, im a bit posh when it comes to tool brands but i could'nt fault these in any way, so far id class them an excellent spanner, the one thing i could fault them on possibly would be the head is a little bit too free on them, a bit tighter would work that bit better.
but im being picky there, it might be all in my head.

I did get my mate one for £20 as I had no room but couldn't leave it for that price!, it will last forever and make it much easier to find stuff so well worth it.

I use the Halfords pro/advanced all the time, don't use tools enough to warrant snapon/facom etc these are a great tool for the price and lifetime warranty is no quibble , swapped spanners sockets and torx bits after ive put a wee bit much through them !

This and a few other bits, chain saws, strimmers etc left at friends place. The owner has not supplied rent in over 3 years and the judge today has ruled we can sell or dispose of all the equipment as we see fit.
So now have to sort all the junk out.
Happy days.
We know it will not cover the debt, but it will help.

A pair of Whitehouse garden shears yesterday. Bought them for $6 in a state, sound metal though no pitting, whacked them on the sandblaster at uni and then brushed and buffed the blades. I sanded the handles then treated them to an oil/kero mix.
No before pics to compare but I'm very happy!

Steep the handles in Linseed oil and bees wax, they will come up a treat and will not give blisters.

Yep they're oiled with linseed oil but the kero repels the woodworm, seems to be more of a problem here in NZ than in the UK. I give all my garden tools a once over every few months.

Any one used rape oil instead of linseed oil?
I saw it in a farmers/Agi supply shop the other day as an alternative.
