bugs the S**t out of me too , but sometimes your just p***ing in the wind it's not rocket science is it . three days later and still no one seems bothered where the key is other than me .

They will do when you tell them you have lost yours and they can’t drive the car?

Would be interesting to know how it fairs. I have a Makita which is very very good but underpowered on waist height bramble, but it does the job with enough batteries.

The Makita four leaf 2.4mm cord is very, very good, not yet had it snap and wears very slow, which is nice as I bought a 250m roll of it!
The Makita bump head is also very good.


I did not realise that level of idiocy was possible!?

I acquired a Parkside 40v multi head tool and I fitted a stihl bump feed line head to it. Got to try it on Friday and I'm well impressed with it.
I have a 20v trimmer and it will only do fairly light stuff.
I was cutting fairly heavy stuff with the 40V and it was managing it no problem. A lot easier on line than the petrol trimmer too.
I used 2 batteries to cut the equivalent of 1/2 tank of petrol. But I can charge the batteries for free during the day because we have solar panels.
I've a feeling that the petrol trimmer might not get used this season!
