White spirit on a cotton bud / paint the tic , keep it off the hedgehogs skin an
,eyes and nose . Pulling well anchored ticks off leaves the animal open to getting serious septic infections from the left in anchors as they rot .
Ticks withdraw their anchors as they die if dabbed in white spirit . It's good for cats ,dogs , sheep , horses etc. etc.
