It turns out that they cover way, way more than the lower torso... and I'm a bawhair shy of 6'2". I did think of selling one of the two I bought but I've come to appreciate the warmth they provide when tucked in! I'm 36" waist and 16st for reference and this is an XL.

Are you sure that isn’t a nightshirt that you’ve ordered

That's not really what you want to use.
It's something I'd suggest for 120mm² wire and upwards or to slice through armored multipolar cords of at least 10 or 16mm²
Don't get me wrong I have one myself too but I use it for those rare occasion when you seriously need to cut through coatings that are at least 8 or 10mm thick
I'd suggest you to get one of these instead

Spring loaded adjustable so the blade inside the hook leave a consistent dept cut barely touching the wires or the conductor below.
It still have the little hook blade like yours but you won't need that.
Another advantage is that you can make perfectly straight and square cuts in the insulation with it.
Very professional results

Don’t mind me asking but do you wonder why your waist size increases to 42” when you tuck your shirt in?

For that XL what sort of chest do you have . I'm 5'10" 54 chest 42 waist and weigh the same as you also have difficulties getting shirts big enough to accommodate a rearranged shoulder injury .

I'm a mere 42" chest so perhaps the XL might be on the large side but they do say allow for shrinkage, and I do wear a t-shirt underneath.

I note that Strauss are doing free delivery until 22/12.

A couple of 5c metric collets purchased from AliExpress. Probably not top quality but superficially look ok.

As am aside, I have a lot of Crawford multi bore collets previously purchased with the hope of getting a Crawford chuck at a sensible price but that never seems to happen so I may need to advertise the collets here if there is any interest. Unless anyone would like to sell their Crawford multi chuck?
