I got a TS150 for £10 back in 1991,
easily the worst brakes on any bike I have ever ridden.
But many clever bits of practicality built into it.
Still have the hand pump somewhere.

Go on, get one........... We could start a clubMy first ever bike after the inevitable FS1E was a D14/4 bantam. Since then I've had a 955i tiger, a ZX9R and everything in between but I keep looking at late bantams, and MZs!
I have a Maxim 700 that has been sitting for three years and needs putting back to roadworthiness first. Then I'll sell it and be very tempted!Go on, get one........... We could start a club![]()

Re the husky intake plates there are indeed 2 types.View attachment 460778
Yesterday evening I've bought this on Amazon .
Thought it would be interesting to have a technical reference while working on the 126p.
I most likely don't need it, cause I'm going to modify most of it .
Starting from the suspensions changing the struts attack angles, the frame adding structural reinforcements practically everywhere close to attack points (it's already a great frame) to the engine by completely forging it.
The transmission too implementing a mechanical sequential shifting mechanism which doesn't do much more than use a plate to move the selectors (quick short precise).
Brakes etc
Anyway move on this

Below one of my husky power cutter videos on YouTube
A guy commented it should have millions likes .
I've abandoned the project because wasting time finding solutions etc
Anyway I've started looking for K760 intake plates , realised that there are 2 different types ...
Wide ports which is what's on my k770
And narrow or slim ports which is presumably the one which fits correctly on the aftermarket cylinder I've installed on my consaw .
Obviously discontinued model ,no parts available other way...
The only one I've found online was on eBay and it's coming from the USA .
I've wasted enough time and energy on this consaw but I believe it turned out to be a personal challenge and I'd like to make my subscribers happy so why not dance this last tango
Good man!!I have a Maxim 700 that has been sitting for three years and needs putting back to roadworthiness first. Then I'll sell it and be very tempted!
Which is probably the wall I've found through my way .Re the husky intake plates there are indeed 2 types.
Pre 2012 I think is the cut off for the narrow style. Then they go wider. And the narrow ones are impossible to find now.
To compound the issue aftermarket cylinder suppliers do not say which type they are selling!! Idiotic really and in some cases when I asked suppliers to measure and tell me what type of cylinder they are offering they declined and were confused why and what I was asking.
Your best bet is to trawl ebay for used carbs with intake assemblies and to be sure ask the vendor to measure the gap between ports.
Brother gave me a green MZ, pretty sure it was a 175cc same style, if felt massive when I was 16.
Aye you wouldn't be found dead on an mz back in the day. Thankfully being cool and fitting in are no longer a priority.Brother gave me a green MZ, pretty sure it was a 175cc same style, if felt massive when I was 16.
Felt massively uncool as well trying to pull the birds & trying to catch up with the LC350 brigade- I'd have it back tho.
Can't tell from the angle, air cooled or water cooled?
I bought a load of 1" wide brushes for a few quid - embossed with 1" on the ferrule . . . measured a nice round 20mm acrossA couple of packs of Kinzo paintbrushes, £16 for 15 brushes. Not as lovely as a good brush but much better than the usual disposables.
Not a lot you can do different if the rate, the wire size and the ID or OD are the same - same old Hooke's law applies to whoever makes them.Springs arrived from Harlow springs. Identical to the original ones. Really impressed . Have asked if possibly they used to make them for Hitachi Seiki because the similarity is uncanny

Here's possible to see what I mean for larger rear vents
