Yes.
No idea what works and what doesn't, except that I've charged both the batteries that came with the Hilti drill and that seems to turn, which is a good start.

16mm to the foot Scale! running on 32 mm gauge track. Used for Narrow gauge mainly.
That one is live steam using gas as a heat source. Meths is also popular I've made a batch of 4 of these running on meths.

For £25,!
mainly as a donor engine,as I bent the crank on the oldun,a non runner,told it needed a plug,however on removing the air filter it fell apart,so suspecting a blocked carb I stripped it ,yes main jet blocked,but the breather pipe and area were caked in sludge and dust,so expect some bore wear,anyway it started 3rd pull and ran smooth,with constant blue smoke so will see how it performs as it’s only required for some rough patches periodically

Yes you said before,I did attempt that in-situ and improved the run out,but it’s still difficult to start,maybe it alters the timing.@Screwdriver is good at straightening bent Honda crankshafts

No today, but a few weeks ago. I was looking for some decent portable temperature/humidity detectors for a couple of jobs I have. I wanted reasonable battery life and logging ability. There were a few cheap unsupported things on the bay of thieves then happened upon the SwitchBot units, which were only a few quid more, I bought 3 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BVZC9Q31
Bluetooth with supposedly a huge range, 2 year battery life and decent on line storage that uploads to a phone app where you can expert the data, ticks all the boxes. I tested one in the guitar case of my poshest acoustic guitar, they don't like it too dry, they can split, they've been fine for years, not likely to get a long dry period up in the Pennines, but its a useful test.
Here's a few screen shots. The units have decent memory capacity, I've left the unit about 2 weeks before syncing the app.
I have a few uses for them, I currently monitor the workshop temperature, but not humidity, so I thought it may useful for others are getting rusty tools. I heat my workshop to about 7c which stops most of it, handy to know if the dew point changes.

It did unfortunately expire three years before I was born.
Just have to buy an E6 kit now. And ideally a warming filter as its Tungsten balenced.
I might try to shoot and develop part of a roll to see how desensitised it's gotten, the "1 stop per decade" rule puts it down at 40 ASA. The seller claimed it's been stored in the freezer all this time, but he would say that wouldn't he...
