I arrived home to a few nice bits
First a Milwaukee M18 fuel compact combi-drill, and while I was at it I bought the M12 Milwaukee dremel type thingy
Then j bought some new old stock 1/2" BSW handles. They need a bit of a tickle of the polishing mop.
Finally, I needed a long straight edge that was a bit better and longer than a 1m steel rule.
I won't unpack it until I have made a bit of a box for it to live in.

My friend messaged me today said come down to his new unit they are clearing it out be quick everything is going in the skip soon
managed to save this lot
all new still in packing cases until i freed them , same size as my 3d printer
now my CNC plasma project could be coming soon plus a big one might power an axis on the Bridgeport
Some 12v 36v and 48v drivers
drive pinions and belts
nice haul of bearings
other bits and bobs ill find room for too many to upload
finally a nice benchtop PSU
He didnt even want a drink for it just own him a favour or two
there were 4000 lin bins all brand new various sizes if he doesnt use them may end up for sale on here

Arrived today, why I was sent them? I am waiting on a reply from North of the border.
They were attached to this.
Mrs Posty lady, with the nice legs was not amused.
Again all past sell by/use by date.
Paraffin, drain cleaner and caustic soda.
I paid for the black paint.
Customer returns, but damaged.

Yeah he knows what im like and messaged me as soon as he had the keys , its a shame lots of stuff went in the skip before I got there but he'd lose more money downtime trying to flog it all and he needs to get his business up and running there as soon as he can.
Im always skip diving at my other friends yards one mans scrap is another mans gold ! Sometimes its just lack of knowledge of what it is other times its just not worth the hassle selling it to haggling numptys

Im one of those too if I understand you correctly but i usually get messed around on the odd item I sell on FB so times that by 100 ad its alot of wasted time thats why good stuff ends up in the ground or melted downYour haggling numpty is a bargain-seeking cognoscente
I once got a tip off from a friend who just finished installing a mezzanine in a factory they had just dumped 50 sheets of 18mm ply in a skip as they were factored into the job for the forklift to drive over , I had the lot for nothing and they were happy as could get more in the skip !
Some years back i had a phone call from a mate, "Do you want some Mahogany?" Turned out he was clearing out a Barclays bank in Leigh on sea. Too much stuff to go in the skip & it meant he would need 3 skips instead of 1. I shot up there in my Moggy truck & there was literally heaps of finest Honduras mahogany panelling & counter tops. It took me 4 trips to move it all with the truck loaded way beyond its capacity.
Much of it turned out to be flame figured timber of such quality it has been unobtainium since the 30's.
I still have a big lot of it to use in next few years.

Small trading estate near me; tyre shops, gearbox reconditioners, small independent garages, that sort of thing. I was passing it the other day, the landlord was having the roof done. They were loading 2.4mtr, 'Big 6' fibreglass roofing sheets into a skip, they'd just about filled one. Looked like they had quite a few more to go.
I didn't need any but I hate waste and I was sure they'd have done somebody a good turn.

I've drop the ceiling in one of the front rooms.
Dirty, dirty business. Dust everywhere, I've been clearing the lath and plaster, separating the wood and came across a hammer.
Must have buried my hammer.
I don't own a Stanley hammer like that!

im still looking for mine that i lost 5 years ago now stanley metal shaft lost it eather doing the wall out side or in the loft ( the loft ive gone through a few times but thats not to say its not there) 
still bugs me now i only lost a few tools im my life
