They don't make the white anymore, they don't touch steel tubing.Really? I thought the Blue vs White were merely designed for different applications.
saw a Bosch commercial rep, last week, he confirmed it.
Pleased you mentioned this. I didn't know Makita did one of these. I was looking at a Milwaukee 12v sander today but I'd rather stick the LXT platform.
I'd love a good quality lathe, watch quite a few machinists on YouTube and looks very rewarding learning the skills to make intricate parts.
Cutting threads looked like witchcraft to start with but I've got the basic idea of how it works.
On a lighter note, I received a parcel with a tin of RTD Compound. 500grams is probably more than I'll ever need, but bit the bullet and bought the smallest tin I could find.
I learned never to contaminate a tin, tube, or bottle of any substance when I was young. I always transfer a portion from a large container to a smaller more convenient container for use, but thanks for the tip, it is appreciated.Top tip, when you've been dipping your drill bit in it and it's full of swarf, don't be tempted to gently warm it up on the cooker ring so all the cr@p sinks to the bottom. Even if they're out they smell it when they come in.
