That's too good to learn on, get some thinner stuff, dunno what I'd do with it, but don't sacrifice it for learning.
I believe he means using it as a table.

That's a tool I didn't know I needed...This arrived today - seems like it could be handy, looking forward to give it a go. Certainly heavy!
Who knows it may even retire my trusty "half-a-broken-screwdriver" bashy.

There seems to be a lack of hull in the back bit there.I acquired a boat, another boat! as if i didnt have enough already. But a friend has retired through ill health & needed to clear his stuff from the workshop where he worked. So i picked a Drascombe Dabber sailing dinghy up, Its old & somewhat battered & no gear. But i have a set of masts, spars, oars & sails that will fit it, Bronze fittings i have in stock, everything else i can make. On a trailer too.
Needs a few grp repairs & painting. Towing it home my wife remarked "She is a nice little boat, I think we should keep it as its ideal for when the yacht gets too much for us to handle". Well thats that sorted then! Another project.

Maybe a Motor pool, an outboard motor can be fitted in thereThere seems to be a lack of hull in the back bit there.
I bought some similar ones at Tatton Park show the other week. I had to do a job on my TT that requires the bolts to be tight, but the design of the rear suspension is such that you can't get a socket and long bar on because the rear diff is in the way.Needed some long spanners for a job on the Jeep. Can't get in there with a socket and my usual trick of using a combination spanner hooked onto the jaw of another combination spanner won't work as there is other immovable stuff that gets in the way
