The good thing about a mixed box of stuff is the enjoyment you can get from sorting it out when it's too rainy to do anything proper. I've been finding various old jam jars and similar crammed full of a mixture of stuff.

How can you not like the excitement of looking through a box of mixed N/S/W looking for 2 identical items when the first one was the first out of the box and there just HAS to be another one in there somewhere. Better than any inane T V show.

Doesn't bother me...this is just the odds and sods box....I'm not a fan of throwing stuff away.
I don't do building work for a living...if I did I can appreciate it saves a lot of time having stuff well organised.

Current state of my work screw box will send half of you into a fit then!
Needs replenishing, but I only use a handful of screws each week.
As well as the usual boxes of screws, I do also have tubs of random mixed screws too. I think B&Qs pick and mix screws section is brilliant.

Havent been on forum much but got an Aldi impact driver for £10, and a McCulloch 38cc chainsaw £99 from Lidl, still a few in my local shop. The label says Husqavarna so should be ok, although half the power of the work 261's, I think they have lost about half from abuse so should be similar.

So do you reckon there is a correlation between demise of Woolies, and their pick and mix, and the recent pandemic due to people's under-developed immune system, weakened by not having regular over-exposure to some decent cultivated bugs on a 1/4 lb of pear drops?
I reckon the modern replacement breeding ground . . . fast food - stopping at Leicester Forest East the other week - order on a giant touch screen, when many many others had ordered before . . .

30x18 and 1" thick ali plate to learn to TIG weld on in the shed on rainy days, offered to buy it at scrap value and was just given it for free
