Thats probably the best thing to do with that bread, I wouldnt eat it! good for stuffing up pipes if you've got a continuous trickle and cant get the heat in it to solder

Todays aquisitions
some carlyle wire stripping cutting crimping pliers , fit and finish are good and super sharp.Pretty much identical to strap on and quarter of the price , time will tell. Made in taiwan aswell .
A cheapish blade for the new mitre saw . narrow kerf and ptfe coating
Draper ,,, so another time will tell purchase and I'll keep the festool for good stuff for now .
finally a care package dropped this afternoon from a mate ( he works for a hardware company )
a selection of screws some sticky drill bits and a bit of hardware , this was acquired although I will drop him some beer tokens tomorrow .

Its a seal kit for an ARB air locker that will be fitted to a Dana 30
Unobtainable in the UK, apparently not available from ARB (according to Devon 4x4)
Several USA sites advertise them but don't have stock and can't get them but Google search turns up 1 on the Euro 4x4 site
VAT and import duty had to be paid so not a cheap purchase
Looking at it, if I knew the dimensions I could have made one

Well you've got them now , nice side line maybe ? .
Enough to top up the log store for next winter and it's now tidy behind the summer house

And a great sense of wellbeing as today was my last day in a wagon. Start the new job next week running a forwarder in a timber yard so there'll be no more 3am starts on Mondays, no more sleeping in a tin box, and no more sitting for hours on end in interminable roadworks or queues caused by people who can't drive

A 25 piece set direct from China a few months ago £6.70 IIRC 30 day delivery time which turned out to be 14 days .

Yesterday a Long term friend came round. It was good to see him. but it was tinged with saddness.
As the items he left me were from his departed dad.
The items are as I pulled them from the box's.
A Battery adapter.
A self assembly Vice.
A large Old B&D drill.
The cables is damaged. That will be replaced.

3 Breasts drills.

TYA, I reckon that socket set is a Gedore, I bought a 3/8 drive AF set when on my first job after I left school in 1965. Still got the box, ratchet & some of the sockets, the extension bar is still being used. It was quality stuff then. Am I right?
