I got some free from the place I used to work, some idiot had destroyed the box and the discs ended up in the "throw out" area as they couldn't be bothered to re-locate them. I asked and they said help yourself, so I did. About half a dozen yellows, also found some going cheap at the Stafford bike show, so I had a few of the other colours.

I had a set as well they soon lost the cutting edges in plastics & aluminium , when I tried to put the mid sized one though 1/4 plate it died three steps in ..... too much friction heat perhaps ?

I thought that after it was too late, daft thing is I had a can of aerosolized cutting /, tapping fluid about two feet away .

Whatever my cheapie drill press is set for on speed two . Can't tell you as it's 35 yrs old and the labels / transfers have long worn off.

I hope you like it. I love them. I think I have the white and brown. I use the green the most. I have a couple greeen ones but I use the others on more delicate surfaces. I forget which is the softer ones now however

Green is 50 grit
Yellow 80 grit
White 120 grit

I mainly use the green ones too.

I have an m12 die grinder which I must say is fantastic.

It seems good. I use the scotchbrite pads on a roloc but thought I’d try these and see what difference there was.

Impressed so far. They’re not too agressive

Depends on what you want to use them for.

I find even the white rolocs too aggressive for machined aluminium surfaces like gasket surfaces on cylinder heads. They do scratch the surface and remove material.

The only real engine use I have had for them is cleaning really rusty exhuast manifold gasket surfaces. (On the cast manifolds not the alloy head)

In essence, I paid £5 for these three and got a hundredweight of scrap thrown in
We'll see what cleans up, but not holding out too much hope.

Nature did try to stop my acquisition, but that wasn't going to stop me
