The other day I was wondering if theres a market for old recipe products (and I see that maybe there is!)...personally I'd prefer either sugar in my stuff or nothing...I really dislike the removal of something and replacement with something else that doesn't taste the same.

I know its all to make us a lot healthier....but for people who only drink 1 bottle of Irn bru once in a blue moon they just want it to taste like they remembered....sure if you're consuming it like water then it needs to be super healthy I guess!

I got two shrink wrapped full sugar slabs of mini world cup football suvineers /football memorabilia bottled for Coke A Cola during one of the world cup series ( Last one in the last century IIRC) , Several years on coming up to another football world cup event I decided to sell them on eBay as unopened singles to see what they would fetch , but having tasted on before I took the photos , I decided to forget the idea incase I poisoned someone .

It tasted absolutely evil and didn't smell too clever either .

Not a fan of "sugar free" stuff either, it's usually got a boatload of chemical sweeteners so it's even sweeter than the original.

A Mitutoyo 513-404 metric lever DTI. Normally about 60 odd quid. 17 quid including delivery via Ali Express.

Why something supposedly made in Japan was nestling in a warehouse in China is debatable. Nothing on the QA sheet.

So not sure its pukka but if it's not then it's a very good copy and for my usage I would never pay 60 odd quid.

It would be interesting to compare it with one from a Mitutoyo dealer to see if it is genuine as I can only compare it with ones on-line.

Thanks for the link, that settles it, a fake, but for the price I'm not worried. When I purchased it I knew there was a reasonable chance, it was 9 quid before postage so guessed it could be dodgy. Interestingly I can now open a case with AliExpress and probably get a refund, they will probably want the DTI back I guess. Not sure I can be bothered to do it, too busy.
