I had an interesting chat with the Serco border guards at the tunnel when we first moved here - got directed to lane 2 at the border checks - just us - they wanted to see the V5 and insurance for my Kawasaki on the trailer. They then asked if I had any weapons, stupidly I said please define a weapon, cue two more guards appearing from their office. Open the boot please - what have you got in there? We’ll, says I, two axes, three billhooks and a long handled slasher! I tried to explain that I do hedgelaying so they said OK, prove it! Luckily I had the newsletter from the hedgelaying society in the car which convinced them I was OK.

Our wee Tesco (Cupar) doesn't seem to enjoy the greatest selection of food at times, must admit I did forget to try there last I was there!
They must have found a decent stock of it; I looked on Amazon a few weeks ago and I didn't see it as a 'subscribe and save' item!

I finally obtained a replacement part that I've been seeking for some time. I was almost to the point of machining a new one, but too many other projects were higher on the to-do list. I think it's probably an NOS part, as there are no signs of wear. I gave it a quick bead blasting and a lick of self-etching primer. Some of you might recognize what it's for (its normal paint color is sort of yellow-orange). I'll post a few photos when I make the repair.
It's kind of a boring-looking part, so I added a prop or two. I thought it made a nice still-life image. I call it "Wooden Guy Walking on Metal Thing."
