Those rulers are good. I use one all day. Only grab a tape for some things over 2m

These things are actually handy and with us there is never the question of folding rule OR tape measure, you always have both close at hand - in addition to the steel ruler and caliper.
It seems to be a continental thing, with you they are rare, with the Yanks I have never seen one.
The work clothes for e.g. carpenters, joiners and others have in our country their own sewn-on long pocket on the side of the thigh, where the hand finds it quite automatically (Approximately where the locksmith has the pocket for his caliper).
The funki folding rule comes from Denmark and has collector value.
The company is now called ACO Funki A/S and is a Europe-wide and beyond operating system provider for pig farming systems - where else should it come from than Denmark.

The rules are good for pipe work and anything involving angles.
I’ve only met one American with one but he had worked in your country a lot.
I used to get them free everytime I went to Germany - most places have adverts printed on them. Not so much now.

That's how I know it ... Imagine my surprise when I said last time at my building material dealer "and throw some of your folding rules in" and was asked "the good ones or the cheap ones?" and "should it be on the invoice?"

i've been mulling over a power probe for a while, its much easier that rigging up jumper wires and messing around with multimeters with extension cables. this would have made many things much easier, like tracing wiring to reactivate the boot pop and fault finding when i cut the wrong wire and stopped my indicators working
i could spent the next 5 mins typing out the reasons why i bought it but there was really only one... one of my favourite youtube channels uses one and likes it and, well, as you can see he doesn't mess around!
had a play this evening and this is going to be a game changer. muchos recommmendos!

For under £24, I think this will do for the limited use it will likely get.
Holes seem clean enough, time will tell how well the punch and dies hold up. Handles on the wonk, but doesn't seem to effect it. Otherwise seems well made.

I still have my Dad's Whitney punch. He made the mistake of lending it and most of the dies went missing. Yeah, for £24.oo I'd also like to get one of these sets. @MetalMonkey Can you post a link please ?

They were, they aren't any more - they have certain promotions every so often, which together with a discount code knocks them right down.
Its usually when they have "engineering tools" on offer, but it seems arbitrary as to what they actually include.

I missed out the last time and was kicking myself, so have been keeping an eye open so I didn't this time.
I'm sure they will do it again, this is like the third time. Also worth keeping an eye on ebay, they have them on there too and sometimes they drop the price cheaper than their website.
Zoro is one of the most random companies I've encountered when it comes to a pricing strategy.
For 24 quid I'm tempted to get one just to replace the missing dies on my genuine one!
Zoro sell the dies separately, for both the genuine and this one - but from what I understand they are not interchangeable.
My original plan was to pick up an old whitney and add the cheapy clone dies, but apparently they are different. Not certain if that is the case.
The genuine dies are about £16 and the clone ones are about £2 - so might be worth a punt if you already have the tool.
