We have been together for 13¼ years, have lived together for over 12 of those, we decided to make it formal and get properly hitched.

It's in her genes unfortunately. Can't quite remember the figures now but it was well over 90% of people of Asian decent carry the gene for lactose intolerance, its reasonably high round most of the world and really only western Europe especially northern that the lactose gene intolerance is low.

Relationships with most of the young kids today seem to be of the "disposable lifestyle" variety and not made to last. I think most on here have the "more traditional values" that I for one hold in high regard. These more "traditional values" seem to be something the new kids on the block want to discard or forget, certainly suppress. I walked in the door marked "Toilet" the other day to find a row of young girls lined up at the sinks. Gender Neutral Toilets are the new thing!

They are not a good thing!
Common in Northern Europe. I was in Bilund airport toilet nearly 20 years ago. Washing my hands and the only occupied cubicle had “farmyard noises” on an industrial scale emanating from it along with the accompanying aroma.
I moved to the hand dryer and the door opened and a Danish girl walks out who could’ve been a model in England.
Shattered the illusion I tell ya
At least they weren't washing their hands in the urinals...

Not my personal acquisition, but did manage to persuade work we need this big t slot bench..(which I'll probably comendeer) along with 2 of the smaller ones. Not often you get an opportunity to by 3 chunky benches at such a steal, and nice and local too.

What do you make of it. I need 2 new ones. A half inch with a decent range, and a 3/8 as it seems a repair kit for the strap on one I have isn’t available

I got the trade card the other week (I’d applied for it years ago but never actually picked it up) - got 20% off a battery for ride on mower

Just finished using it and it is very nice indeed, especially the scale that goes up in 5Nm (for the 3/8" one) and the small window that goes up in 0.5Nm increments so very easy to set to the correct torque.What do you make of it. I’ve got the trade card, it’s well worth it especially as it’s free. I just flashed a copy of a city and guilds cert - to be honest it could have been in drama for all the attention the guy paid it! It got me £12 off the price of a battery so I was pretty happy.No idea

I’ve used the torque wrenches (we did some big copper busbar work a while back and used 1/2” one) and I’m quite tempted, though I’ve already got a few of varying sizes so I’m struggling to justify it!
