This is not an eBay.de seller.

I automatically search the local classifieds sites for topics that interest me.
I've come across this seller on and off for months, but I've never bought from him before - he seems to do the purchasing for a mechanical engineering company or something similar and offers changing material in irregular order - new and slightly used things.

For example, the darker of the indexable inserts are "lightly used Sandvik ..." and I'm going to try one of them right away.

If you tell me what you're looking for I can ask him about it, also if he ships to the UK or if it would have to go through me, which I'm very happy to offer.

Also, I don't know if he speaks English and if he does, how much he likes to do it.

Those PPK holders are actually quite decent. I've been using those for a couple of year now, & I've had no problems whatsoever with them.

Same here, PPK holders but 10mm for my wee hobbymat. Been fine for light stuff and even parting!

Nowhere in it is there any mention of PPK, it is just the same composition of the same size.

The oversized, slightly washed-out labeling on the holders gives a first clue.

And then in the offer they don't even manage to make ten supposedly identical indexable inserts look reasonably identical when photographed side by side.

I still fall for inferior products from time to time if they are well disguised - this offer is not even disguised ....

You may be right, but this wasn't the example for it

Proper inch-pound scale too, which is a step backwards but a huge improvement over trying to guesstimate from the stupidly small metric scale on the other one.

Possibly not hayfever but, sinus irritation from all the crap that gets up there..

Sudafed/boots decongestant pseudoephedrine works very well for me when I get it. One of the few medicines worth having in cupboard.

I suffer from blocked sinuses too, have you tried the saline nasal sprays? Either premixed aerosol (sterimar) or mix your own sachets of salt and bicarb. (Neilmed)

Really help me when I'm suffering.

Polyps and sinus issues are a real issue for me, I am 4 operations in. Daily loratadine for hayfever and
the Neilmed with the satches with luke warm water, really helps as 'part' of the regime. It also seems to assist in keeping colds at bay.

I always where a face covering when doing cast iron machining these days ..the crap that gets washed out if not is scary !

I understand it a bit with the islands, you have to change the means of transport, but Scottish Highlands ....

I always fantasise about wild bears, rabid badgers the size of shirehorses, sabre-toothed tigers and blue-faced man-eaters armed with two-handed swords -
no paths, only bogs, etc. .... It can't be like that any more, can it?

Man it winds me up!!

It costs the same to post within the UK with Royal Mail. Highlands, Orkney, Shetland and NI all count as ‘mainland’ with them.

I have had several arguments on the phone about it. Told one bloke to shove a couple hundred quid order cos he was too lazy to walk to the post office, which from google maps was about 5 doors down!! Knob.

That said. Welly Welding always send RM to me rather than their usual carrier. So does Rob at Xtreme. I buy as much as I can there to repay the favour
