Are the positive effects of this attempt that were intended at the time actually achieved?
After all, they have moved away from it: Was it simply too expensive to manufacture or did it not work particularly well?

Just a little update on this one it’s 6 days later and still no better so went to a&e and it was going to be a 9-10 hour wait to be seen so didn’t bother phoned 101 instead for the choc doctor basically it gets you a appointment so you don’t have to wait in a&e and they said of what’s described I shouldn’t go to the hospital instead take paracetamol and wait another week then if no better go back to a&e so guess I’ll see what happens but I always thought I’d you broke a bone and waited two weeks it would be too late to do anything

. Get it seen to properly would be my advice, as having arthritis in your hand(s) is no joke.
Phoned a go this morning they said it was pointless getting a appointment with them as they are fully booked for scans and X-rays for 6-8weeks and to phone chock or go to a&e and the 6 day wait was because I wasn’t missing another bank holiday the joys of a high pain tolerance you can forget about it broke my hand and wrist last year and didn’t know for 16 hours only went to get it checked as didn’t have much strength in itIf a fracture is suspected, someone has to look in there aka. as an X-ray examination.
I already found your six-day wait very dubious, especially with the reasoning you gave us.
It's none of my business and I only know your health system from the outside, but go where you can get an X-ray: Orthopaedist, radiologist, possibly general practitioner, .... and if you don't find what you're looking for there, then go to the emergency room or emergency outpatient clinic - this can sometimes be associated with waiting times, as is the case everywhere.
If you don't want to wait, you'll have to put money or your credit card on the reception desk.
If you don't want that either, you can live quite well with a physical disability, only the pain can be annoying.
Suppose just wasn’t keen sitting in a small hot room packed with randoms for that longWorth taking the chance that, if left to its own devices, it sets in a wrong orientation and you end up with a deformed digit??
