Who said things were easy.
Today I acquired bike insurance.
Tried yesterday to get my policy changed, was on the phone for over an hour yesterday, wouldn't accept my bikes model as it didn't chime with the outdated descriptions they had so was supposed to get the dealer to confirm. Couldn't get through so was going to have to leave the bike but dealer covered me for 12hrs so I could get home. Today I have spent a further 2 hrs on the phone and now they tell me they won't cover me because the bike is too expensive
Had to cancel that insurance and have now managed to get cover from Bennetts, £400 rather than the £325 I was previously but hopefully any issues I have will be easier to deal with seeing as they are supposed to be bike specialists

Oh, one good thing, dealer gave me the wrong model, didn't notice until I was on my way home. This one has the electronic suspension and is £1500 more than the model I was supposed to get. Phoned dealer this morning and he held his hands up as his mistake but I agreed to pay £500 of the £1500 so everyone is happy, me more so than the dealer I would imagine.

I would pay more not to have electronic suspension on a bike. A relative has it on his BMW, failed just out of warranty, really expensive to replace. I suppose if you do not intend keeping long term, it is fine.

Yeh but BMW, nuff said
To be honest I am a bit worried in that respect but worst comes to the worst I should be able to just put standard guts in. No plans on selling this one any time soon, it has been exhausting enough
