That is a nice find indeed
May I offer that you get it on 50x50 x 5mm angle iron bed base with locking fully rotating castors before filling it up before age kicks your legs from under you . Those racks are crazily heavy when full with nuts & bolt etc and were an absolute sod to move full on a smooth polished concrete floor even with four of us pushing & shoving like hero's . We also short chained them to the wall at the top as the height made them a tad unstable if the lower drawers were only lightly filled .

Well , the breaker got it's first action in anger this morning .. I struggled to use it but with the help of my lass we demolished four courses of 9 inch rock solid mortared engineering brick walling some 12 foot long in about 20 min , before we had to stop have a cuppa , watch PMQ's and clean up the rubble.I got one of theses via Yodel at 17.00 hrs today.. The steel transportation case is about half as thick as bean tin metal , The tool holder had torn through it leaving a 2 inch gash in the end wall , paint off the body in ten or more places ..due to the tools , spare brushes ,point and chisel taking a wander inside the packing on its 6,000 mile journey to me ?
Plenty of oil creep from joints & holes on the body but a quick wipe off and an unladen test run for three minutes to warm it up as per the manual ,I always RTFM even on B&Q store cabinet assemblies )
As it weighs 27 kg I put it on my 4 wheel articulated garden trolley and dragged it off to where it's going to be used in anger tomorrow .
Set it up on a 40 foot heavy duty extension cable running out of the log cabin ,then breath held for a few seconds used it with the chisel to crack up five inches of lean mix topped with 40 mm vibrated cast slabs around the cast in situ pond I did 15 years ago .
It fair blew them apart .. heavy work for an old fool like me , glad I was called for teatime after I'd lifted 10 foot of this 2 foot wide edging and stored the beast away for the night .
All in all it's like a Kango medium demo hammer but at 2000 watt , I'm well pleased.
I spent a while looking on eBay for it and eventually found it on a site with UK stocks that dropped the price by £ 20 more from the sale price if I purchased it within 6 seconds plus an additional 15 % discount . Quite pleased, the same model was £198 + VAT & carriage three years ago . I paid £122 including carriage VAT already paid . .
I chose to purchase rather than hire as the local hire place only does 110 volt so I'd have to also hire a decent meaty transformer . As I'm 71 & 80 % disabled I can't always guarantee I can complete jobs in the hire periods . Plus I can always keep it clean & tidy then sell if for more than I paid for it in three years time ....
I sold a tip top looking Thule three cycle tow bar mounted cycle rack to fund the purchase . only paid £94 for it four years ago , sold it last week for £ 146 , Halfords price £ 220 or more new a week before Easter
Second thrux at it tomorrow if the backache & joint fairies are kind to me to night .

I'm already cutting the steel to length, they are a tad low so raising them up a bit, also allows a couple of sheet metal drawers underneath for power tools. I'm not putting castors on though, I doubt if I will move them frequently, if at all, but if I do, I'll just take the drawers out

Our TM has been banging on about getting a calibrated torque wrench for a long time, went to munch up some hub nuts with it today and that one is 350nm short of where it needs to be. May need to get the multiplier out tomorrow, that one is only rated at 1000nm.

Mine is even worse, only 760nm… in its defence it is a work of art as far as torque wrenches go, machined from one piece solid billet. It was given to me recently by someone who retired and wouldn’t be needing it.

those (even the cheap ones like that) are a life saver for big wheel nuts, I bought a cheap one to test it out and it's saved my **** a few times - especially twin wheelers where it's hard to get decent leverage without nocking the socket off to an angle
once had a 6 wheel check done, garage said it needed new shoes on the back - (it didn't really but I said fair enough do them for me)
next day just about to load at a slaughterhouse in the middle of nowhere.... 3 flat tyres on the back - mechanic had managed to crush 3 of the valve extenders between the rims as he put the tyres back on - and they way overtighten the nuts :-(
had a 10ton bottle jack in the van, it was supposed to be decent one but it was junk, ended up doing press-ups on the bar to push it down with my back up against the truck body to hold me down, wheels off and wheel them 400 yards up hill to get to a compressor, was knackered by the time I was done!

Watch out for the instructions regarding subsequent coats. I got a nice crackle finish when I applied another coat after 5 days.

Have discovered Rock Auto in the US and how easy it is to get stuff for what is a relatively rare car in the UK as long as you don't have the 2.5TD
So I gained some fridge magnets that were freebies
And some front and rear spring seats
Been trying to find an exhaust, local factors say no can do, shipping was a bit speedy from the USA but stumbled across a tailpipe on eBay for a tad over £30
