I see. That would be perfect for when I change the lathe motor over from single phase to 3 phase with a vfd for varible.speed i think
When I converted several three phase motors to run on 240V 3-phase, I also had to change the starter relay switches to 240V so they would work with the inverters.Most 3 phase motors will run on 240V 3 phase, so you only need a normal 240V VFD.
