Was looking for a cover for the wee hobbymatt lathe, 2nd hand they go for stupid money. Came across this guy listing covers for machines and asked if he could make one, gave him dims, chose colour and finish, and 3 days later delivered. Does covers for welders and all sorts.

Have a look in your local Lidl shop. They might currently have these water resistant fabric bike covers in stock £2.99
Great as a lathe or other machine cover, just tuck in the excess material.

That brings back a bad memory.
Years ago my Wife and I use to go down for an evening walk around our local lake, and afterwards feed popcorn to the ducks by where we parked. There was one goose that would barge in and scatter the ducks from time to time, so one day I dropped a bag over his head while the ducks had their feed. When I took the bag off the goose seemed to be honking some very bad words at me.
The next time we went down to the lake the goose snuck up behind me and bit my a***. The Wife laughed for days every time she looked at me.

M9 is a Mercedes sprinter engine block thread from memory. I had one and I’m sure it was m9.

Just as I'm hoping to book mine in for an MOT next Monday, it threw up a MAF sensor warning - this in turn puts the ESP light on which is a fail. I've cleaned it and am hoping it will be OK.

Mine is either the o2 sensor, the a/f o2 sensor, or both. They’re $500 each plus tax from Subaru which is a bit rich for me so I’m going to stick some used ones on. Not ideal to be honest but it might drag me out of the proverbial for a spell.
