That is the one and only Meccano set I ever owned.
If we discount the multi-coloured plastic one, then thats the same for me too, aged 5 or 6 I think, a present in the mid 70's.
I still have whats left of it, in a metal biscuit tin (with pictures of London on it) in the loft. Remember my dad buying a new lot of nuts and bolts for it as I'd managed to lose most of the originals.

I used to use them to size swinging arm bushes mainly BSA Bantam and Triumph Tiger Cub. Then I bought bigger ones and moved on to BSA timing side crankshaft bushes. It was quite lucrative, back in the day.

I remember getting my 5TA done at a local engineering company, when I bought a BMW R100RS with adjustable taper roller winging arm bearings, it was a revelation.

I once bought an old camera in a box of odds 'n sobs because it was in with something else I wanted. I noticed before I junked it that there was still a roll of film in it so I safely removed it and developed/printed it. It turned out to be pics of family groups taken somewhere in Canada back in, judging by the fashions, the 1930s at my best guess.
It never occurred to me at the time [it was 20=odd years ago] to return the images to the Auctioneers to see if they could trace the source and return them to the family. It might have come from a commercial 'house clearance' of course, so they wouldn't have bothered.

I've checked, and it seems OK.
In reality, it probably won't be an issue: I'll only be testing my own stuff with it.
(So I don't need the recording bit, just knowing they're safe).
If I ever start doing PAT testing regularly (unlikely), I'll get a more modern one.
It was only £20!!!

Some bits and bobs from my OH's grandfather's shed
I don't need any of these things, but that's no reason to turn them down, is it? Vice is a Record #3; I've already got 4 bench vices, but a fifth one can't hurt. One day I might even have space to have more than one attached to benches rather than just hiding them in the shed until I finally get round to moving house.

Collected these, this Afternoon. 2, Kismet Trolley Pumps. Bought them from , Facebook Marketplace. Cost a total , of £15.
One has been painted and needs resealed. The other is still in original paint and still has the ,Kismet name,on the frame.
