I wouldn't. I hang my 'phones up on a market stall shelf clamp and let them dangle. If you store them on that ball it will probably knacker the tensiony bit, depending on their design. Or use a smaller ball - or deflate that one a bit.

Nice one vans are like hens teeth just now. Friend tried to hire one for the day, no chance they all out. Apparently folk are hiring them sticking a mattress in the back and heading off on their staycations, any panel van will do.

As you say they're not easy to come by, when I decided I wanted a van wasn't planning on spending anything like this much. Anything in my original budget was scrap, couldn't find anything local, was having a Google and came across this one with no vat which is a big plus for me.
We've talked about doing something with it for a night or 2 camping, won't be making it Into a camper but thought about mounting a rail for an awning over side door then making a removable unit with fridge, kettle and such then just chuck an inflatable mattress, folding chairs and a few bits into it.

On the final week on my apprenticeship (when you were probably about 4....) someone brought in a load of job vacancy flyers from McDonald's. It was quite fitting he was the only one in the class to fail the final exam, I think he retook it a few weeks later

A few things arrived yesterday from eBay; five 2.4m lengths of two-core 1.0mm H07RN-F for a bargain £9 (most of that would've been postage!) and a non-Bosch Bosch 18V 5Ah battery.
The battery was only £25; thought I'd give a one a go as the pixies permanently downed tools in the 5Ah Bosch one I've had for a few years; @nickk mentioned these a week or two ago - hope yours is working well?

Only joking of course well done and a great reward for many years hard work. Congratulations just need a job now to start paying off the debt
. The world is now your oyster. My son has the eng. bit without the m but still gets some cracking work to do. All the best for the future but remember I have a relative in the oil industry part of his job is looking after and checking new graduate engineers work. He says that the more qualified they are the more they think they know it all and f*** ups they make. Now is the time to "Listen and Learn".
