Bought a new bedside clock radio a few weeks ago and as a freebie (came from Sports Direct - they sell them for £30!) they sent me this colourful inflatable round and bouncy object; something I have no interest in, nor ability to use - one of the dogs normally gets the fun out of vandalising them.



May make a stand for it and use it as for headphone storage as it's the right size!

It’s a beast of a machine. You forget just how dire the Chinese generic bandsaws are until you use something like this. Even with a mullered blade it whipped through the 50mm bar I put in there to try. Got a bit of an oil leak to see to, but shouldn’t take long to sort.

You obviously don't follow "the lock picking lawyer" on YouTube, not sure there's such a thing as a decent combination lock, managed to decode all my dads expensive kasp and yale ones after he hadn't used them for a while and had forgotten the codes with nothing but a strong magnet and touch. Locks only keep honest people out really.

22 seconds with 2 spanners and you are in.

We used to use similar on dry risers, so the Fire brigade can easy get in.

Just had a walk round the corner from where I'm delivering in the morning and picked up a few bits courtesy of the ginormous B&Q Warehouse in Wigan for a fence that I'll (hopefully...) be building at the weekend. B&Q in Bishop Auckland, the nearest to home, has had hardly any stocks of much at all of late so it was nice to have plenty of choice. They even have a "pick and mix" section for screws and bolts which would doubtless be picked clean by the thieving ne'er do well chavs in my adopted homeland...

Also acquired 2 pints of very cold shandy from the Swan and Railway pub by Wigan Railway Station, (and the last time I went in there was the night before Boris announced the lockdown in March last year), and a damned tasty home-made burger on the bbq. And I have to go past Machine Mart in Wigan tomorrow onroot to Accrington so I might hopefully acquire a couple of welding magnets for project roofrack.

A set of 3" castors from the "What " shop in Aberdare which my Wife picked up for me. Cheap price and has solid rubber wheels. Also, a roll of armoured cable was delivered today, for power to my new garage. Goodbye extension cord.
