If you really want to be accurate.
The tool stamped with a government marking still belong to the government, unless you can produce a ticket to say you have obtained them by honest methods

I've got a couple of things with the stamp on them but no proof of purchase, if the government can provide me with a ticket saying they've used honest methods to spend (pizz) my tax money away they can have them back!
I think my stuff is safe though

Our house used to be owned by an ex RAF Engineering Sqdn Ldr. EVERYTHING seems to have the Broad Arrow on it (He left us the lot!)

My fave is a small hammer marked "<- AM 1941"

The "Broard Arrow" was/is a stamp or mark to indicate A government department.
Ware department was stamped WD.
The old post office had GPO and a arrow or one or the other.

If you go to Clifford Tower and the city walls you will see the arrow carved into some stones.

It is not a flood level, it is a government stamp.
Flood levels are a flat line and a date.

I heard that down on the towers in the Hasting Area.
So how do you get a flood up to Clifford's Tower?

Yes Barrage balloons came under that as well.

Oddly Sean planes came under joint AM and RN.

I don’t know about Orkney is what I was wondering.

There was a vast number of troops here but not sure about horses

If they had RE/REME etc there may have been one. Would be an interesting thing to research.

The name doesn't inspire confidence, deliberately similar to Bluepoint. You wouldn't buy tools branded "Snap-off" or "Queen Dick" (Well you might, it's quite amusing ).

There’s a guy on YouTube, trailer fitters toolbox, who seems to swear by them.

All was well after I had a medical this morning so I can now send off for my provisional coach licence. Still a bit miffed that the medical I had 2 years ago when I was 55 to renew my hgv licence doesn't count but hey-ho, such is life .

Not much of it does count. Wife is going the other way - bus to HGV and none of it seems to count bar possibly the CPC if you’ve the right units.

No tools today, but I acquired an old fly fishing rod from a charity shop. The brass sockets have rubber plugs in them, something I've never seen before, apparently to keep debris out. The small print on the label states " Accles & Pollock LTD " Made in England. Its about 11' long and in excelent condition; haven't been fishing in years, but couldn't pass it up for a (£) fiver.

The scope is a cheap pocket type, Supposedly 16x52, If this think magnifies sixteen times then i'm Faqtha Christmas!!

Can't complain for two quid though!!
