Today collected quite a rare device.
New old stock.

The"returns" brush cutter turned up. It appears to have seen light use but oddly comes complete with the blade, strimmer head and box spanner, something I didn't expect from reading the ad...I knew it came without batteries and "strap", the blade was supposedly also missing as was the strimmer head...

Of course I've yet to power it up and see what happens...if anything.

The one thing that is missing as aforementioned is the body harness/strap to support it as you use it (surprisingly heavy). Pretty certain I can do something with a spare, out of date full body harness here, some D shackles and karabiners etc. God forbid I have to download a read a manual for it or watch a YouTube video!!!

Just waiting for the Makita batteries to charge up.

The 3D printed, Makita to Einhell adapters we made for use in the 36V chainsaw (bargain from Amazon.de pre Brexit) appear to fit perfectly:

Any idea what's inside? I assume the dials set the partial pressures of each gas but there must be more to it than a pair of regulators. Some kind of mass-flow meter perhaps? I'd love a picture if the case is openable.

I had to get a new one of these for my Henry vacuum/miter saw as the old one e stopped working.
I think it got wet then got a bash so can't really blame the old one but this is only £9 against £250 + for a proper tool dust extractor!

Metal shear courtesy of my Dad, he's having a clear out and a faceache steal. A Dirty Pro sheet metal folder, never heard of that maker, I thought it was a Sealy. Now I can crack on with the bodywork on the camper.

This unit is from 1988 and is really beauty made from brass and steel.
No need for electronic.
Just engineering.
That is also one reason to buy this kind of useless stuff for myself.

Not today but last week I picked up this metal jigsaw



And some 2" OD, 1/4" wall seamless tube, and 13 big Johnny Joints





Hopefully once all stuck together it will be a rear coil conversion with 4 link setup for the rear of my Jeep XJ and a 3 link long arm setup for the front

Steelwork was laser cut by Lasered Components and then folded by a company somewhere around Stroud

Needed 2 lengths of scaffold tube today, found someone local selling some on FB Marketplace, didn't want to split so I had to buy the lot, not too bothered as it was cheap
