It's "no mow May" isn't it to give the bees a chance to play catch up after the wet weather. 3 months behind on the growing season or something. I've just mown a path to the shed & stable.

Someone using a sniping tool?

I dont know if anyone actually uses a tool, I'd never trust one with my details! but theres two good approaches. If you *want* it, simply placing a high enough bid early, will win. Sellers prefer it, gives other bidders something to beat, gets the price up. If your the only bidder, you'll still get it cheap. If theres many bidders it'll likely end higher than the items worth. People enjoy winning..

If your max bid is going to be similar to others, that wont work, as its so easy to decide to bid more. Instead its generally best to place your maximum bid in the last seconds so others dont have time to respond. That is just how ebay works..

I ain't much of a tig welder, relatively new to it, have a young lad who is right on it though So ended up with a large credit note situation with our supplier, and spent the lot on a MagicWave .

If I really want something, I'll bid over the odds to get it; so if someone snipes it, well, they will have paid "way over" the odds.

You will never know if its a sniping program but the rules are simple, bid higher or bid first.
The only person with any right to complain about last second/sniping bids is the seller as it keeps the price low.

Zoro! On Friday I was fed up with the backorders, so I cancelled the mask order. Yesterday I get a dispatch email today it arrived It was worth the wait, looks decent, fits well, comfortable. Made in UK - so might not last The only annoyance is its now 5 quid cheaper, still 60 quid was a good price.

With filter on its a bit long-snouted!

That's all very well, but you've to take your chance when you can up here atm. It's been so wet lately if you can't get to it when it's dry, it's up to your ankles before you know it.

Sods Law Machine Mart are doing them for £96 inc VAT on clearance but none in my nearest shop, Sidcup. I rang and they said nope, website is wrong! Most miffed. Would have been a £30 saving over Toolstation.

Most kind , but after phoning round the local[ish] possible suppliers early this a.m., I took myself off to Inverness and got one there at the last place I tried.

I thought I'd collect my alloys which were in for refurbishing but weren't ready for me to pick up [as promised] at my last clinic day, and........they're still not ready! It's no biggie, but I'm beginning to think something's happened to them.

Zero pointes for The Wheel Specialist, although I've been very happy with their service in the past.
