Also, the grass desperately needs cutting - think I'll leave that until early evening, it's bound to be dry by then after the heavy dew
It's "no mow May" isn't it to give the bees a chance to play catch up after the wet weather. 3 months behind on the growing season or something. I've just mown a path to the shed & stable.




 today it arrived 
 It was worth the wait, looks decent, fits well, comfortable. Made in UK - so might not last 
 The only annoyance is its now 5 quid cheaper, still 60 quid was a good price.
  
 Now waiting to see if the local ironmongers has a replacement, otherwise it's a run out tomorrow for one. 
, but after phoning round the local[ish] possible suppliers early this a.m., I took myself off to Inverness and got one there at the last place I tried.
  It's no biggie, but I'm beginning to think something's happened to them.
