Bargain! That’s a lot for £60!
I thought it wasn't bad either. Then I saw the same tray at another brewery supplier for £35, how do they do it!

We used to use a spring loaded syringe type of thing that sucked up the remelted solder .
I made a 25ltr keg a few years ago that had gone a bit wrong, not something I would have drank or given to friends. Had a painter and decorator in and he stopped me tipping it down the drain, he took it home chucked a bag of sugar in it and drank the lot

My first attempt this year was foul ,in fact I poured it away but sitting here , typing this ,I would say after a couple of pints , the second brew I’m happy with. HicYou're really investing in this, what if the beer turns out to be stuff you don't like/can't drink?![]()
they are only £21 inc vat for three pairs at costco at present bought some on monday and I agree they are a decentA three-pack of gloves I've already got a couple of pairs of; Wells Lamont HydraHyde work gloves; incredibly comfortable and a great alternative to Mechanix (or similar) and only a tenner a pair on eBay.
Have been wearing them for a few months when out and about and for driving, walking the dogs, etc. when cold.

God I miss making wine & beer! Beer only ever from kits but every country wine from scratch.
Used to make ginger beer too starting off with a "plant" in a jam jar...root ginger I think it was that you "fed" every day with a spoonful of sugar and powdered ginger from memory. Wish I could find the recipe!
No wonder I did s**t at school!
I've never used costco online so couldn't say , but if they are in store shouldn't see why not .Are they online, just looked and couldn't see them. Saying that I'm not logged in and can't be bothered getting up to get my Costco card!
I still make ginger beer:
2l pop bottle, spoon-full of bread yeast. thumb of ginger (sliced) + a teacup of sugar. fill with pre-boiled water, but leave a couple of inches space, and squeeze the bottle until the water reaches the top, before putting the lid on. release the pressure, and re3squeeze every couple of days (if you don't you'll regret opening the bottle later!)

We gave it a taste earlier and it's really quite good.

Pretty cloudy but there's cold crashing still to come, I suppose it'll clear in the keg too, assuming it doesn't get finished this weekend.![]()
I had to stop brewing for a while because the wine consumption was getting a tad high
