Do not be tempted to "tweek" the OP voltage up.

They go fizz pop.

The fan is also good to blow air into a duct to melt metal.

New Evolution mitre saw. My old Faithful mitre saw that I use for cutting reclaimed wood and pallets for kindling is 20 years old, needed a new blade and the guard needs fettling.

I was going to fix it and put on a multi-material blade so I can whizz through nails and screws but they need a slower speed than normal mitre saws or the blade dulls very quickly.

So I decided to get the whole thing and retire the old saw. I can also sell my fixed Evolution saw that I just use for 25mm box and similar. The old saw will go to local charity that provides training to by teaching them how to mend stuff. A bit like the Repair Shop but without the tears and largely working on old tatt.

It also means I can use it to make the new chicken pen to meet the bird flu restrictions coming into force 14th December. I have a big pile of 6 x2 and 2 x 2 to cut to size

Its a 30A supply, the heaters are supposed to be 10-12A on initial start up with much less once running

Picked up some Dewalt boots called oxygen safety trainer they are very light and fitted bang on not like my last boots which required breaking in, The were from screwedfix but reduced for £60 plus down to £45

genuine laminate in my kitchen i bought ac5 quality water resistant ive had 2 times water spills one washing mechine and water pipe from the fridge come off both times there has been quite a bit of water (not a flood) but half a washing up bowl to a full bowl

the floor is still down and not warped as yet thats why laminate

still dont get why any one would put wood or laminate in a bathroom perhaps its just me but i think its looks nice but not can never last or a good idea with all the water around
